Street Maps

Typical scope in various street map projects is as follows: Client provided source road maps of each area (cities, towns) are scanned and located as per toposheets and existing road maps. Required features like Roads (access controlled highways, numbered highways, main roads, secondary roads etc), rail roads, water tanks, parks, points of interest (cemeteries, police stations, post offices, schools, churches, hospitals etc.) are digitized using heads up digitization. Where ever required edge matching of adjacent maps and joining of features is done to create a complete town/area. Final map finishing like setting line properties, annotation, and color filling etc. is done using specified multimedia software.
