PIMS provides an excellent single source location for groups to evaluate, collaborate, view status, and update the progress of a project all with a user-friendly web based interface. PIMS (Project Information Management System) was developed for the project manager and their associated contractors in mind. It is a web-based application that can be used on a corporate internet, intranet or extranet. It provides a single source location for all individuals to evaluate a project in real time from start to finish. All participants, whether they be project managers, architects, or contractors, are able to view the status of a particular project and their associated milestones. A variety of files can be updated, accessed and contributed to the site. All project members are on the same page to analyze the latest updates of drawings, documents, and contacts.
